1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Browser local storage works similarly. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember preferences and operate securely.

2. Cookies we use

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work, for security and for form submission; used without separate consent.
• Functional — remembers your language choice (LT/EN) in local storage (key "airdue-lang"), stored only on your device.
• Authentication/session — used only in the admin area to keep a signed-in user authenticated.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4, used only if you accept analytics.

3. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

• Service: Google Analytics 4. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
• Purpose: aggregated statistics about website traffic and how visitors use airdue.net.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Activation: the Google Analytics script is loaded only after you explicitly accept analytics. Before that, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage denied and no measurement request is sent.
• Typical identifiers: Google Analytics may set cookies and identifiers such as "_ga" and "_ga_*" to distinguish visits and sessions.
• Withdrawal: you can reject analytics at the outset or withdraw your consent later using the "Cookie & analytics settings" control in the footer; the related Google Analytics cookies are then deleted where technically possible.

4. Duration

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Functional entries (language) and your consent record remain until you clear browser data. Authentication entries last until sign-out or session expiry. Google Analytics identifiers follow Google's own retention periods.

5. Marketing and third-party cookies

AirDue does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, remarketing tags or behavioural advertising/profiling trackers. Advertising consent signals are kept denied at all times. Where Google or its subprocessors process analytics data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer safeguards in Chapter V GDPR apply (adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Managing cookies

• Use the "Cookie & analytics settings" control in the footer to review, give or withdraw your analytics consent at any time.
• You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser's privacy settings.
• You can browse in private/incognito mode.
• Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies may break the questionnaire, form submission or sign-in.
